The Classic range is predominantly made in one of the original factories set up by the Thonet brothers, and is still mostly manufactured using the original ovens, jigs and equipment from 1875 to bend the wooden components.  Michael Thonet engineered the production of his designs so well that even with modern technology the original system is still efficient.
